ZION EASE LOGISTICS – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all logistics, shipping, consolidation, and related services (“Services”) provided by ZionEase Logistics (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website or booking any service, you (“Customer”, “Client”) agree to these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
ZionEase Logistics provides:
• Sea Freight Consolidation (LCL)
• Air Freight Shipping
• Packaging & Cargo Preparation (where requested)
• Cargo Consolidation for Export
• Assistance with Documentation
• Coordination with Licensed Customs Brokers
• Last-Mile Delivery (where applicable)
3. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
1. Provide accurate shipment details (weight, dimensions, contents, value).
2. Ensure items are not prohibited by airline, shipping line, Nigerian law, or international law.
3. Ensure proper packaging, unless packaging service is requested.
4. Pay all applicable charges including freight, handling, storage, customs penalties (if any), demurrage, or detention fees.
5. Submit all required documents promptly.
4. Prohibited & Restricted Items
The following items cannot be shipped:
• Firearms, ammunition, weapons
• Drugs, narcotics, controlled substances
• Explosives or flammable chemicals
• Cash or precious stones
• Human/animal remains
• Hazardous materials
• Perishables without approval
5. Cargo Acceptance & Inspection
We reserve the right to open and inspect packages. We may reject shipments that are unsafe, misdeclared, illegal, or improperly packaged.
6. Transit Time & Delivery
Transit times are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to customs, weather, congestion, documentation issues, airline or shipping line schedules.
7. Liability & Compensation
• Non‑insured shipments: compensation limited to shipping fee paid OR $10/kg, whichever is lower.
• Insured shipments: claims follow insurance provider rules.
• Not liable for fragile items not packaged properly, customs delays, acts of God, wrong addresses, or items given to unauthorized persons.
8. Claims Policy
Claims must be submitted within:
• 48 hours for visible damage
• 5 days for missing items
• 7 days for lost cargo
Claims require proof of value, photos, and tracking number.
9. Customs Compliance
We work with licensed clearing partners. Not responsible for duties, fines, seizures, or delays caused by customer non‑compliance.
10. Payment Terms
Payments must be made before shipment. Refunds only if shipment has not been consolidated or handed to the carrier.
11. Tracking
Shipment tracking available via website, tracking number, or support channels.
12. Force Majeure
Not liable for delays caused by natural disasters, war, strikes, terrorism, airline issues, government actions, or any event beyond our control.
13. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and applicable destination‑country laws.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By using our services, you accept these Terms & Conditions.
